AratAyna

"Arat Ayna," meaning "Four-Eyed," is a title of great distinction in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. It is awarded to scholars who have achieved complete mastery over the four foundational pillars of sacred knowledge: the Old Testament, the New Testament, ancient scholarly texts, and the Book of the Monks.​
